Use details

The hot-melt backing allows embroidered patches to be applied by heat press or household iron, reducing sewing work on uniforms, denim and promotional apparel.

1

Dense thread coverage keeps logos and lettering visible on high-contact garment areas, so the embroidered face stays clear during daily use.

2

Full-back adhesive coverage and controlled edge finishing help the patch lie flat after pressing, reducing corner lifting on badges and shaped logo applications.

Factory checks

Quality checks cover stitch density, thread trimming, hot-melt film coverage, backing alignment, edge shape and color consistency. Sample pressing is used to check heat-bond performance, edge lifting and patch flatness on the intended fabric type before bulk production.

Questions before ordering

Q: Why do coated fabrics require a pressing test?

A: Waterproof and low-surface-energy coatings can block the hot-melt film from reaching the fabric fibers and reduce bond strength.

Q: What causes patch corners to lift after pressing?

A: Uneven pressure, insufficient heating, a contaminated fabric surface or an edge not fully covered by the press can cause lifting.

Q: Can a heat-transfer patch be applied across a seam?

A: Seams create uneven thickness and pressure, so the patch should be positioned on a flat panel whenever possible.

Q: Can a pressed patch be repositioned?

A: Heat-activated backing is not designed for repositioning; reheating and removal can distort the patch or leave adhesive on the garment.
