Use details
The foam-supported embroidery creates a raised surface on bold letters and emblem areas, making logos more visible on cap fronts, varsity jackets and team apparel than standard flat embroidery.

Dense satin stitching encloses the foam around curved lettering and solid graphic areas, so the patch keeps a clean raised outline during garment assembly and repeated handling.

Raised embroidery works with flat stitching in the same design, so large logo elements stand out while small text and narrow details stay readable.

Factory checks

Backing adhesion, Velcro sewing, pin fixing or sew-on allowance is checked for the selected backing, so bulk patches keep the raised logo detail and clean finishing agreed in the sample.
Questions before ordering
Q: What artwork format is best for puff embroidery?
A: Vector artwork with clearly separated raised and flat areas gives the digitizer precise outlines for foam placement and stitch paths.
Q: Can puff embroidery follow sharp corners?
A: Very sharp corners and narrow projections are normally simplified or changed to flat embroidery because the foam must be fully enclosed by satin stitches.
Q: Can a raised area extend to the patch edge?
A: Raised areas are normally kept inside the finished border so the foam does not interfere with cutting or edge stitching.
Q: How is exposed foam prevented?
A: Foam is matched closely to the thread or base color, then covered with sufficient stitch density around the cut edges.
